1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing chhatrabandhu.com, submitting an enquiry, requesting counselling, purchasing a service or asking us to assist with an application, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

If you do not agree, do not submit information, make a payment or use a paid service. A specific written proposal, invoice or signed service agreement may add terms for that service. If it clearly conflicts with these general terms, the specific written term controls only for the relevant subject and transaction, to the extent permitted by law.

2. Our role and services

Depending on the request, we may provide career counselling, course and institution information, eligibility guidance, application assistance, document checklists, deadline reminders, admission coordination, parent guidance and related support.

We are not a government department, university, college, examination authority, accreditation body, scholarship provider, lender or recruitment agency unless expressly stated for a separately authorised role. References to an institution or course do not imply ownership, official representation, exclusive partnership or endorsement.

We may modify, pause or discontinue a service when reasonably necessary, while honouring applicable obligations for paid work already accepted.

3. Eligibility and students under 18

You must be legally capable of accepting these terms. Students under 18 should use our services only with the knowledge, involvement and consent of a parent or lawful guardian. A parent or guardian approving a minor’s use is responsible for supervising the interaction, reviewing recommendations and authorising documents and payments.

We may request identity, age, guardian consent or other reasonable verification before accepting documents, payment or application instructions.

4. Student and parent responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide complete, accurate and current academic, personal, category, financial and contact information.
• Read official eligibility rules, prospectuses, fee notices and deadlines before making a final decision.
• Review every form and document before authorising submission.
• Provide genuine documents and never ask us to alter, conceal or misrepresent information.
• Keep copies of applications, receipts, acknowledgements and official communication.
• Attend counselling, examinations, interviews, verification and reporting as required by the institution.
• Protect OTPs, passwords, portal credentials and payment credentials. Share access only when necessary and through an agreed secure process.
• Inform us promptly if relevant information changes or an error is discovered.

You remain responsible for your final course, institution, payment and career decisions.

5. Educational information can change

Admission dates, seats, fees, eligibility, entrance requirements, affiliations, recognition, curricula, scholarships, examinations and regulations may change without notice. We try to provide useful and current information, but website content and counselling summaries cannot replace the latest official notification.

Typographical, technical or third-party data errors may occur. If we identify a material error, we may correct the content or advice and communicate an update where reasonably practical.

6. No guarantee of admission or career outcome

We provide guidance and process support on a reasonable-efforts basis. Unless an authorised written document expressly states otherwise, we do not guarantee:

• Eligibility, admission, seat allotment, choice of institution or admission by a particular date.
• Recognition, affiliation, transfer, equivalence, licensing, registration or acceptance of a qualification.
• Scholarship, education loan, visa, hostel, examination result, internship or placement.
• Salary, employment, promotion, career success or return on educational investment.

Final decisions may depend on merit, eligibility, documents, entrance performance, reservation rules, seat availability, institutional policy and regulatory action outside our control.

7. Fees, payments and refunds

Any paid service should be confirmed through an official invoice, receipt, proposal or written message stating the service and amount. You must pay only through an officially confirmed channel and retain proof.

Fees paid directly to an institution or third party are separate from our service fees. We are not responsible for an unauthorised payment or for a payment made to the wrong recipient despite available verification information.

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and any specific written term applicable to the purchase. Applicable taxes or charges may be added as disclosed.

8. Communication consent

By voluntarily providing contact details, requesting guidance, ticking a consent box, calling or messaging us, you authorise ChhatraBandhu Academy to contact you about your enquiry, applications, services and relevant offers through phone calls, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, email and other available communication channels.

By sharing your name, email address, phone number or other contact information, you authorise ChhatraBandhu Academy to contact you through Phone, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, Email and other communication channels. This authorisation applies notwithstanding any NDNC/DND registration, only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This consent does not waive non-excludable rights. You may opt out of promotional communication using an available opt-out method or by contacting us. Service, transaction, application, security or legally required communication may continue when necessary. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use the website or our services to:

• Submit forged, misleading, stolen or unlawfully obtained information or documents.
• Impersonate another person or falsely claim authority.
• Seek admission, marks, attendance, certification or benefit through fraud, bribery or unfair means.
• Upload malware, attack systems, scrape content at scale, bypass security or interfere with website operation.
• Harass staff or other users, send unlawful content or violate privacy, intellectual-property or other rights.
• Use our name, logo, content or communication to mislead students or collect unauthorised payments.

We may refuse or stop assistance where we reasonably suspect unlawful, unethical, unsafe or misleading activity.

10. Intellectual property

The ChhatraBandhu Academy name, logo, website design, original text, graphics, counselling resources, forms and training material are owned by us or used under permission and are protected by applicable law.

You may view and download ordinary website material for personal, non-commercial education decision-making. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, remove notices, create misleading adaptations or use our branding without prior written permission. Institution names, logos and third-party content remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Third-party institutions, links and platforms

We may link or refer to universities, colleges, regulators, scholarship portals, payment providers, maps, social networks and other services. Their terms, fees, availability, content, security and privacy practices are outside our control.

You should independently assess a third party before sharing documents, creating an account or making payment. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent act or omission, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website and general information are provided on an “as available” basis. We will provide accepted services with reasonable care and skill, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free content or outcomes controlled by others.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ChhatraBandhu Academy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost opportunity, lost profit, reputational loss or loss arising solely from an institution’s independent decision, regulatory change, inaccurate information supplied by a user, missed deadline outside our control or third-party system failure.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

13. Refusal, suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access to a service for non-payment, abuse, security risk, false documents, unlawful instructions, material breach of these terms or conduct that may harm a student, institution, our team or another person.

You may stop using a service at any time, subject to outstanding fees, work already completed, third-party commitments and the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Provisions intended to survive—such as payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and dispute terms—will remain effective.

14. Governing law, complaints and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please first contact us with details of any concern so that we can attempt a practical resolution.

Subject to applicable consumer rights and any mandatory legal forum, courts having jurisdiction in Burdwan, West Bengal will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. Delay in enforcing a right does not waive it.

We may update these terms when services, technology or law changes. The revised terms will be posted with an updated effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.
